On March 28, 2020, I launched the Prison Officer Podcast with a simple but powerful mission: to bring recognition to the amazing people who perform one of society's most challenging and largely forgotten jobs behind the fences and walls of our prisons and jails.

Our Mission

The Prison Officer Podcast began with a simple belief: the people who work behind the walls deserve to have their voices heard. Over the years, that mission has grown into something even bigger.

Today, we share conversations that develop leaders, strengthen organizations, and highlight the professionals who serve in some of the most challenging environments imaginable. While our roots will always be in corrections, the lessons we explore—leadership, resilience, communication, emotional intelligence, and service—apply to anyone who leads people under pressure.

Our goal is to elevate the profession, inspire continuous growth, and remind those who serve that what they do matters.
